Muay Thai Weight Classes
- Mini Flyweight weight over 100 lbs but not exceeding 105 lbs.
- Junior Flyweight weight over 105 lbs but not exceeding 108 lbs.
- Flyweight weight over 108 lbs but not exceeding 112 lbs.
- Junior Bantamweight weight over 112 lbs but not exceeding 115 lbs.
Does Muay Thai have competitions?
Like all sports, Muay Thai competitions are governed by a strict set of rules and regulations. They are put in place and appropriated by officials and the referee to ensure the safety of the fighters as well as the fairness of the competition without any bias.

“B” class fights are usually fought over five two minute rounds, again with one minute rest intervals. In some associations knees to head are allowed, in others they are not. Generally elbows to the head are not allowed in “B” class fights, although, on occasion, they are used with agreement of both boxers.
