Harley-Davidson has decided to quietly discontinue the Harley-Davidson V-Rod from it 2018 model line-up. The 2017 V-Rod Muscle and Night Rod Special will be the final iterations of the VSRC (V-Twin Street Racing Custom) line from Harley-Davidson.

Price and Options The V-Rod Muscle® starts at $16,449 in Vivid Black, while the Night Rod® Special starts at $16,849 in Vivid Black. Both offer a color option for an additional $350.
Are v rods popular?
The V-Rod is quite popular in its native Germany. Other than that, there just wasn’t any reason to buy a V-Rod. A smooth engine, fitted into a street dragster frame… Not exactly what most H-D customers are looking for.
Which is better V Rod or Night Rod?
The styling on these two bikes is probably the biggest difference.
